DR. P. K. JOY THE LEADER OF OUR TEAM.
THE LEAD ROLE IN THE PLANING AND DELIVERY OF OUR SERVICES IS PLAYED BY Dr. P. K. Joy, a multi-disciplinary academic, consultant and author, with rich and varied experiences. He was born on 25 September 1940 to Mr. Kankalil Philipose Abraham and Mrs. Annamma Abraham in Kurathikkad Village in the Alleppy District of Kerala State in South India.
Right from his boyhood he wanted to be a poet and writer. But much against his wish, he was required to pursue job-fetching education and then go for employment. But in later years he pursued higher education in many disciplines and research on serveral topics, which he thought would equip him well to serve the under-privileged members of the society. He got the opportunity to get extensive guidance from a foreigner senior colleague with whom he worked and also resided. His mentor was many years older, but as he was an unmarried man of austere living, he had good amount of time to spend for Dr. Joy. Almost all of his wakeful time outside the office hours, was available to Joy. The older gentleman’s association was a great blessing to Dr. Joy.

After his mentor’s death, Joy joined another German company with huge business connections with India’s steel industry development.
When he was just 42 years of age, Dr. Joy resigned his job of Financial Controller (CFO) of his German employer and moved to Chennai to take advantage of the available huge opportunities for multi-pronged academic activities comprising learning, researching, teaching, writing and training others. He also headed an engineering company in Chennai. His sizeable savings from the well-paid multinational companies’ jobs were invested in this Chennai company.
After developing his company and partly leaving its management to his two teams of partners, one after the other, Joy spent considerable portion of his time for teaching and writing. His partners along with a team of financial consultants and allegedly with two bank officers, defalcated the company’s money and other assets. Joy had to rush in and take back the management when the company was already sick. He sold out all his family assets and cleared employees’ and creditors’ dues. This huge misfortune made joy lose his business and wealth. He then took to consulting, professional writing and teaching. This huge failure added to his rich and varied management experience, which The Business Standard daily has called ‘a mine of experience to be explored’. The rest of his background and achievements which have groomed him with rich education and varied experiences to serve others well are contained in the following sections.
